Meniscal lesions often occur in association with anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears at the moment of injury or, secondarily, as a consequence knee instability. Both ACL and meniscus are associated higher risk osteoarthritis. Adequate treatment these reduces rate degenerative changes affected knee. should be addressed concomitantly reconstruction must oriented towards preserving meniscal tissue anytime this is possible. Several options for approaching tear available. The suture always considered, and, if possible, meniscectomy last choice. “Masterly neglect” valuable option selected cases.
